Design – it is life thinking, it’s not a profession. I love colours, I love fonts, I love hand drawings and alignment, I love vector and shapes, I can see layouts in everything. It doesn’t matter whether I’m doing poster, branding, mobile app, or maybe I’m picking a couch for my room. Everything has to be bold and deep – from information architecture to graphics, from research to user flow and testing, from sketch to layout – everything is a design thinking steps.
I was born in Saint Petersburg, the city with saturated culture. You can’t avoid art history or museums or any public event, which usually relates to artists, writers, or the creative human environment.
I was the happiest person because I studied at Saint Petersburg University at Arts Faculty. Six years of graphic design, drawings and lots of discussions about fonts, colours, and composition.
I started working as a graphic designer in the 4th year of study. After 5 years of work in different design areas, I became an Art Director in a Communication Agency. Later, I became interested in the information architecture and user experiences.
I developed my skills and finished the bachelor degree in Software Development in Auckland. At that time, I worked as a UI/UX designer. My background from graphic design helps to develop projects from user flow to final graphics.
